The Calling of Every Believer Some believers are specifically called to the office of Evangelist, yet every Christian is called to share the love of Christ. Jesus’ final instructions to His followers were to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world. Sharing our faith is an act of obedience and love. God uses ordinary believers to accomplish extraordinary things through the power of the Holy Spirit. The call to evangelism begins with a surrendered heart and a willingness to serve.
